Students

University can be an exciting time to meet new people, get independent, have time away from what you know, find yourself and if you’re a Christian, develop your relationship with God.
It can also be a time of uncertainty. You don’t know what its going to be like, who you’ll meet, if your housemate will smell of dogs or if you’ll live on pot noodles for 3 years, etc.

Here at Waterfront Community Church, there is a welcoming environment for students.
We aim to feed you spiritually with our Sunday services, where we meet to worship and grow in faith, and our midweek student group which we discuss relevant life issues from God‘s viewpoint. And physically with free lunches after every Sunday morning service, which helps people get to know other students, local church members and get a good feeding.

Uni can be tough, especially for a Christian. So if you want to grow, get to know others, look to serve the church and the community and have people care and pray for you then come along and be apart of it.
Jesus asked people to follow Him, so I pray that you will choose to follow Him everyday in your student and future life, so your housemates, course mates, lecturers and everyone else you meet will see a difference in you and the kingdom of God will grow through you in your time here!
YOU CAN MAKE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE, IF YOU CHOOSE TO FOLLOW HIM.
